STATE PARK SUPERINTENDENT III – CENTRAL VALLEY DISTRICT / SAN JOAQUIN SECTOR OFFICE / SAN JOAQUIN SECTOR OFFICE

The reporting location for this position is San Joaquin Sector Office in Friant, CA. This position will work under the general direction of District Superintendent II.

The Central Valley District is looking to hire a State Park Superintendent III as the San Joaquin Sector Superintendent located. The successful candidate will oversee Millerton Lake SRA, Wassama Roundhouse SHP and the California State Mining and Mineral Museum, as well as the District's Field Training Program. The San Joaquin Sector Superintendent will supervise a variety of classifications including State Park Peace Officer Rangers and Lifeguards, Maintenance, Interpreters, and Cultural Resources staff. Experience with concessions management and partnership agreements is preferred.

State Park Superintendent II will also be considered for recruitment purposes.

Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license is required. You must answer the questions addressing your driver’s license on your application. Ensure you provide your driver’s license number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions on your application.

The position(s) require(s) a Drug Screening be passed prior to appointment.

Per California Code of Regulations (CCR) 599.961, this is a sensitive position, and therefore subject to drug and alcohol testing. It should be noted that testing is not mandatory, but is allowed to be conducted only if and when there is a determination of reasonable suspicion as defined in CCR 599.962.

This position is designated as not telework eligible.
