Job Description and Duties
PARK MAINTENANCE CHIEF II will also be considered for recruitment purposes.
The reporting location for this position is the Angeles District Headquarters located at Malibu Creek State Park at 1925 Las Virgenes Road, Calabasas, CA 91302. This position will work under the general direction of the District Superintendent I. This very challenging position is responsible for a wide range of Technical Service programs including deferred maintenance, facility maintenance, grounds, historic structure maintenance and rehabilitation, construction inspection, contract specification preparation and review, equipment and property management, state park equipment operator supervision, warehouse supervision, hazmat and safety coordination, housing, and FEMA coordination.Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license is required. You must answer the questions addressing your driver’s license on your application. The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment
This position is designed as not telework eligible.
