PARK MAINTENANCE CHIEF II (PERMANENT FULLTIME) / CAPITAL DISTRICT / FACILITIES MAINTENANCE / OLD SACRAMENTO STATE HISTORIC PARK

The reporting location of this position is 111 I Street in Sacramento, CA. This position will work under the direction of the District Superintendent I.

The Park Maintenance Chief II directly supervises the Maintenance Services Section of the Capital District. This position works with the District Services Manager to ensure clear and effective work among and between all functions and Managers of the District.

The Park Maintenance Chief II will plan and manage the following programs within the maintenance operation: budget, purchasing, Maximo, project layout/management, and equipment program. This position ensures that all maintenance principles are followed throughout the District and updates, maintains, evaluates, and monitors facility maintenance records, schedules and standards using Department guidelines and Policy.

Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

This position is designated as not telework eligible.

The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.
