***This is a Peace Officer Position. To be eligible, you must meet the minimum qualifications established by the Department of Human Resources AND either be currently eligible or eligible for reinstatement as a PC 830.2, California State Peace Officer.
If you are not a current peace officer and in possession of a POST – Academy, Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Certificate, you are not eligible for this position.

STATE PARK SUPERINTENDENT III – INLAND EMPIRE DISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
The reporting location for this position is the Inland Empire District office located within Lake Perris State Recreation Area. This position will work under the direction of the District Superintendent. The Chief Ranger is responsible for the Public Safety programs within the Inland Empire District. This includes managing the Aquatic Programs at Lake Perris and Silverwood Lake State Recreation Areas. Other duties include training of Peace Officers (Field Training Officer Program, in-service training and Peace Officer Standards Training compliance and tracking), Operations management (law enforcement, patrol, public information, emergency medical services, crime prevention and investigation), and managing the Public Safety records program.
State housing is not available.
