Working Conditions
Willingness to work long and irregular hours, to work in remote parts of the State, to work on Sundays and Holidays, and during the summer season to remain on duty 24 hours a day, as required, restricted to duty assignments; adaptability, tact, and neat personal appearance.

Salary Range B - This range shall only apply to incumbents in positions with direct responsibility for work supervision, on-the-job training, and work performance evaluation of at least 2 inmates, wards, or resident workers.

Additional Information
Incumbent is required to wear respiratory protection equipment, including self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA). As such, Cal/OSHA requires that the incumbent be annually medically cleared to be fit-tested for respiratory protection equipment. May be subject to working nights, weekends, or holidays in support of emergency incidents.
