The primary role for Timber interns is to "cruise" or mark and count trees for sustainable harvest on public lands. Silviculture interns assist in reforestation efforts. There is generally overlap in these positions and many Timber interns aid in Silviculture tasks and vice versa. District/Field Office: Eagle-Holy Cross Ranger District. Location: Minturn.
