Position: Kiln Forklift Operator

Reports to: Quality Control Superintendent

Position Overview: The Kiln Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely operating forklifts during the in-feed and out-feed processes, ensuring efficient material handling and contributing to overall production goals.

• Safety: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
• Communication: Coordinate with other team members, including machine operators, supervisors, and maintenance personnel, to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills:

• The ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial forklift experience in a manufacturing environment (ex.

Taylor 360, Hyster 360) or 3 years of Heavy Equipment operations (Skid Steers, Excavators, etc.)

• Good interpersonal skills and communication
• Enthusiastic, positive attitude
• Knowledge of the lumber manufacturing process would be an asset
• Forklift license considered an asset
