Position Overview:
Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of various facilities such as commercial buildings, residential complexes, industrial plants, or other structures. Their primary role is to ensure that facilities operate smoothly by conducting regular inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks.
Roles and Responsibilities: Perform daily quality control checks for the kiln,
- Maintenance Tasks:
- Routine Inspections: Regularly inspecting facilities to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
- Repair Work: Performing repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), and other systems.
- Carpentry and Painting: Conducting carpentry work and painting to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the facility.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining and repairing various equipment and machinery within the facility.
- Preventive Maintenance:
- Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment and systems are in optimal condition.
- Lubricating, cleaning, and servicing machinery to prevent breakdowns.
- Emergency Repairs:
- Responding promptly to emergency maintenance requests and resolving issues that could affect safety or the normal functioning of the facility.
- Documentation:
- Keeping detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Updating maintenance logs and reports to track the history of equipment and systems.
- Communication:
- Collaborating with other staff members, contractors, and vendors to coordinate maintenance activities.
- Communicating effectively with management regarding the status of maintenance projects and any issues that may arise.
- Compliance:
- Ensuring that maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, building codes, and other relevant standards.
- Troubleshooting:
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with various systems and equipment to identify the root cause of problems.
- Technical Skills:
- Possessing a broad range of technical skills related to plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, and general maintenance tasks.
- Adaptability:
- Being adaptable and able to work on a variety of tasks in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of building maintenance experience, construction, plumbing, and electrical experience preferred
- A certification in maintenance is a plus.
