Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise assembly of our cutting-edge drone systems, contributing directly to the creation of high-quality, innovative aerial technology. Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Component Assembly:
    • Perform accurate and precise assembly of various drone components, including airframes, flight controllers, and chargers.
    • Follow detailed assembly instructions and verbal direction to ensure products meet specifications.
    • Utilize a variety of hand tools (e.g., torque drivers, screwdrivers), and specialized fixtures and test equipment safely and efficiently.
    • Perform electrical connection tasks as required.
    • Quality Control:
    • Conduct in-process quality checks and visual inspections of assembled components and finished products to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.
    • Identify and report any discrepancies, malfunctions, or quality issues to manager or manufacturing engineers.
    • Ensure all components are properly secured and connections are reliable.
    • Material Handling and Organization:
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
    • Properly handle and store components and finished products to prevent damage.
    • Accurately record production data, including units assembled and materials used.
    • Continuous Improvement:
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions aimed at improving assembly processes, efficiency, and product quality.
    • Adhere to all company safety guidelines and quality procedures.


Required Qualifications


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of experience in electronics assembly, mechanical assembly, or a similar manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Proven manual dexterity with small delicate parts and excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including assembly instructions and diagrams.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools used in assembly.
  • Basic understanding of electronics components and safe handling practices is a plus.
  • Experience with soldering is a significant advantage but is not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Good communication skills.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions


  • Must be able to walk, stand, and navigate large indoor and outdoor facilities for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 25 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in designated areas or when performing specific tasks, in accordance with safety protocols and company policy.
  • May be required to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, or crouch during inspections, maintenance walk-throughs, or emergency response situations.
  • Regular exposure to facility operations including noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, and industrial equipment.
  • Occasional off-hours or weekend work required for emergency facility responses or projects as needed
  • Requires frequent use of a computer and other standard office equipment for documentation, communication, and coordination tasks.
