Fisheries Technician
Job Function:
Environmental Support Provide support to programs that ensure compliance with all applicable environmental laws and regulations and support implementation of fish, wildlife and water quality programs and activities at generation and other company projects.
This is a seasonal position.

Career Level: T1 Entry Technical Support Entry-level position with appropriate licenses/training certifications
Has basic skills in an analytical or technical process
Works within clearly defined standard operating and adheres to quality guidelines
Work is completed with close supervision
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs routine aspects of assignments related to environmental studies, projects and programs.
- Assists with field surveys, such as data collection, soil sampling, fish collection, field monitoring and water-quality sampling.
- Become familiar with and maintain related field equipment and inventories.
- Enters data from various field studies into electronic spreadsheets and databases.
- Assists Environmental Services employees in other department activities as needed.
- Coordinates communication for fieldwork and related fieldwork schedules. Coordinates and assembles equipment.
- Adheres to PGE standards, safety objectives and regulatory requirements.
Education/Experience/Certifications:
Education High school diploma or equivalent. Related college course work preferred in designated specialty, such as fisheries or aquatic science.
Experience Typically two or fewer years in related field.
Preferred Experience
Boat operations experience
Experience driving large/heavy vehicles
Comfortability operating an overhead crane
Experience with identifying fish

Compensation Range:
$22.04 - $33.06Actual total compensation is commensurate with experience, skills, and education.
