About the Role:
Apply your organizational mastery and acute attention to detail to the dynamic field of People Operations. We're looking for a Working Student to join our People Team in Berlin and act as primary support for ensuring smooth HR office administration. Get hands-on with essential tasks supporting the employee lifecycle, from onboarding new hires to maintaining accurate employee data, all while gaining vital experience in a dynamic, international setting.
This is a part-time, 20 hours/week role which will require you to work from our Berlin office 2 days a week.
Impact You’ll Own:
As a Working Student in People Operations, you will support the EMEA People Team with critical administrative and operational tasks, including:
- Administrative Support:
- Assisting with data entry, filing, and ensuring the organized management of HR documents and employee files.
- Handling general administrative tasks for the People Team as needed.
- Employee Onboarding:
- Helping with the preparation and processing of new hire paperwork and documentation.
- Supporting the team in ensuring a smooth and organized onboarding experience for all new Berlin employees.
- HRIS Support:
- Assisting with tasks within our Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and organizational data.
- General People Team Office Support:
- Providing general office support for the EMEA People Team to keep the team operating efficiently.
What You Bring:
- Currently enrolled as a student at a German university (ideally in Business Administration, HR, Communications, or a related field).
- A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Fluency in both English and German.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and other productivity software.
- A solid sense of responsibility and integrity.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly.
What Makes You Stand Out:
- You already have some experience working in a People Team / HR department.
- You had exposure to international work environments
- You speak one of the following languages: French, Slovenian or Dutch.
