Help us tackle the growing wildfire crisis with the latest advancements in AI and IoT

Who we are

The problem: Every minute matters in fire response. As climate change amplifies the intensity of wildfires—with longer fire seasons, dryer fuels, and faster winds—new ignitions spread faster and put more communities at risk. Today, most wildfires are detected by bystanders and reported via 911, meaning it can take hours to detect a fire, verify its exact location and size, and dispatch first responders. Fire authorities need a faster way to detect, confirm, and pinpoint fires so that they can quickly respond—preventing small flare-ups from becoming devastating infernos.

About Pano: We are a 100+ person growth-stage hybrid-remote start-up, headquartered in San Francisco. We are the leader in early wildfire detection and intelligence, helping fire professionals respond to fires faster and more safely—with the right equipment, timely information, and enhanced coordination—so that they can stop a new ignition before it grows. Pano AI combines advanced hardware, software, and artificial intelligence into an easy-to-use, web-based platform. Leveraging a network of ultra-high-definition, 360-degree cameras atop high vantage points, as well as satellite and other data feeds, Pano AI produces a real-time picture of threats in a geographic region and delivers immediate, actionable intelligence.

Pano AI is on TIME's list of the 100 Most Influential Companies of 2025! MIT Technology Review listed Pano as one of the top 15 climate tech companies to watch in 2024, and Fast Company named Pano AI one of the Top 10 most innovative companies in AI of 2023. We’ve also been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and CNBC News. Pano AI’s dozens of government and enterprise customers span 16 states in the U.S., five states in Australia, and BC, Canada, and we are currently monitoring over 30 million acres of land. Pano AI has raised $89M in venture capital funding from Giant Ventures, Liberty Mutual Ventures, Tokio Marine Future Fund, Congruent Ventures, Initialized Capital, Salesforce Ventures, and T-Mobile Ventures. The Role

Pano is entering a pivotal phase of growth, expanding its product footprint and strengthening its position as a leader in applied AI for wildfire and disaster intelligence. To support this next chapter, we are hiring a Product Partnerships Manager to help build and execute the partnerships that unlock new technical capabilities, accelerate our product roadmap, and create meaningful value for customers and agencies in high-risk environments.

A major focus of this role is identifying, evaluating, and structuring partnerships across several verticals core to Pano’s ecosystem - including IoT sensor networks, geospatial and satellite data providers, GovTech platforms, and enterprise technology vendors. You will assess which opportunities deliver the greatest technical, financial, or strategic value through quantitative modeling and scenario analysis.

The Product Partnerships Manager is both strategic and execution-oriented. You will identify and assess high-value partners, quantify their potential impact, negotiate and structure agreements, and drive each integration from idea to launch alongside Product, Engineering, Legal, and Marketing. This is a true ground-floor opportunity to build the systems, frameworks, and workflows that will shape Pano’s long-term partnership ecosystem.

Reporting to the Head of Product Partnerships, this role offers significant autonomy, influence over product direction, and a rare opportunity to grow alongside a function and company undergoing rapid expansion.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify, evaluate, and land high-impact product and technology partnerships that advance Pano’s technical capabilities and competitive position across IoT, geospatial, GovTech, and enterprise technology ecosystems.

  • Own the partnership lifecycle end-to-end — from prioritization and outreach to negotiation, business modeling, contracting, execution, integration, and launch.

  • Build decision frameworks that help leadership assess partnership prioritization, required investment, and expected financial or strategic value.

  • Conduct landscape research, competitive analyses, quantitative impact assessments, and technical due diligence to surface strong opportunities.

  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to define integration requirements, shape the product experience, and ensure technical feasibility across diverse partner types.

  • Manage cross-functional workstreams to keep integrations on track, escalating resourcing or sequencing needs when appropriate.

  • Develop foundational partnership processes, templates, operating models, and workflows as Pano scales its integration ecosystem.

  • Represent Pano externally with prospective partners, articulating our mission, value proposition, and the strategic opportunities we can unlock together.

  • Achieve key early milestones, including landing priority partnerships within the first 90 days and progressing multiple integrations toward launch in the first six months.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5–8 years of experience managing product or technology partnerships within relevant ecosystems such as IoT, geospatial data, GovTech, or enterprise technology platforms — or in product strategy, consulting, or business development roles with direct exposure to these partner types.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams and comfort navigating technical conversations (APIs, integrations, product concepts).

  • Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to structure ambiguous problems, build prioritization frameworks, perform deal sizing or financial modeling, and communicate clear recommendations.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex initiatives, multiple stakeholders, and fast-moving workstreams in environments with evolving processes.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills — able to adapt style and level of detail for external partners and internal teams.

  • A team-first mindset with the willingness to roll up your sleeves and build structure in an emerging-function environment.

  • Curiosity and a desire to work in an applied AI and climate-resilience domain; direct wildfire or geospatial experience is not required.

The final salary offer depends on a variety of factors, including an individual’s job-related qualifications, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for stock options. We also provide comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, a matching 401(k) plan, and unlimited paid time off.

Compensation Range: $174K - $240K
