Position Summary | This recruitment will be used to fill two (3) part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Fisheries and Wildlife Lab position at Oregon State University (OSU). We would like student-workers to help us sort freshwater invertebrates from stream-bottom material as a part of a studies to determine how management activities affect these organisms. |

Position Duties | The student-workers we hire will be using a dissecting microscope to examine stream bottom samples and to pull freshwater invertebrates out of the other material. There will be opportunities to learn to identify invertebrates to the Order or Family level. No other tasks will be performed. |

Additional Required Qualifications | Ability to use or learn to use a dissecting microscope and handle small, preserved organisms using forceps. |
Preferred (Special) Qualifications | Previous experience using microscopes and/or work with freshwater invertebrates preferred. |
