Position Summary | This recruitment will be used to create a pool of part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week during the school year; higher during holidays and summer break) Horse Center Crew Member positions for the Department of Animal and Rangeland Sciences at Oregon State University (OSU). This position is for the care and maintenance of horses. Typical duties include cleaning stalls, feeding, watering, and handling of horses. The employee will perform weekly tasks and projects around the Horse Center, as needed. Employees are expected to work every other weekend and partial holidays. Employee must be available to work weekdays between 5:30 am – 8 am. Work is performed in barns and outdoors at the OSU Horse Center located on NW Walnut Dr. in Corvallis, OR. |

Additional Required Qualifications |
This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per OSU Standard 576-055-0000 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months. |
