Basic Purpose

Provides analytical, reporting and process management support to management, plant partners and other key stakeholders within the generation business unit. Coordinates process improvements through inter-departmental task teams. Provides operational and business consulting services in support of department, plant and/or corporate goals.

Essential Education, Skills, and Environment

Education and Work Experience

Bachelor’s degree in the area of specialty and 3-5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills

Excellent knowledge of fundamental models and analytical tools. Thorough knowledge of administrative practices and procedures. Working knowledge of presentation and spreadsheet software. Able to handle highest level confidential information. Excellent planning, time management, communication, decision making, presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Equipment and Applications

PCs, word processing, spreadsheet and database software.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

General office environment. No special physical demands required.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs moderately complex analyses of data on a timely basis to support and assist Plant Management in tracking and reporting progress of department, plant, and/or corporate goals.

  • Analyzes complex information streams and reports data

  • Assists in troubleshooting inconsistencies in reporting

  • Prepares ad-hoc reports and presentations as appropriate

  • Develops processes and procedures to ensure corporate/departmental standards are developed, managed, and maintained

  • Analyzes and optimizes work processes and methods to continuously improve profitability of generation unit.

  • Seeks opportunities to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness
  • Routinely consults with senior management and executive staff to provide useful management information related to the corporate mission and goals.
  • Supports the effectiveness of the unit by offering and providing timely information and by assuring good communications in all aspects of the work.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
