This is a multi-level posting. Candidates may be considered for any of the posted levels, depending on their level of experience and depth of expertise.
The Data Governance Analyst supports the execution of the enterprise data governance program by assisting with documentation, metadata maintenance, and governance processes. This role works under guidance from senior governance staff and collaborates with Data Owners, Data Stewards, and technical teams to help ensure data is defined, documented, and used consistently.

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, data analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in data, analytics, or business operations roles is required for the level I.
• 4+ years of experience in data governance, data management, analytics, or related roles.
• For the level II must have working knowledge of data governance concepts including data management, analytics, or related roles.
• Basic understanding of data concepts and documentation practices.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to learn new tools and processes.
Preferred:
• Exposure to data governance, data quality, or metadata tools.

• Assist with documenting business data definitions, data classifications, and glossary terms.
• Support Data Owners and Data Stewards in maintaining metadata within the data catalog or governance tools.
• Help maintain governance documentation, policies, standards, and controls.
• Assist with basic data quality documentation and issue tracking.
• Participate in governance meetings and working sessions as assigned.
• Provide administrative and operational support for data governance initiatives.
