Met One Instruments, Inc., powered by Acoem, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to serve as the strategic lead for our Southeastern US market. This is a consultative, field-based position for a professional who thrives on navigating complex regulatory environments and building long-term project pipelines within the environmental monitoring sector.
As the "business owner" of your region, you will leverage technical acumen and strategic planning to secure new business for our precision instrumentation. This role offers the agility of a focused organization with the global backing and R&D strength of the Acoem Group.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Sales & Territory Management:
- Identify & Nurture High-Value Projects: Achieve sales targets by identifying complex project opportunities with government agencies, industrial clients, and environmental consultants.
- Autonomous Territory Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for the Southeast, identifying untapped markets and managing the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to close.
- Consultative Problem Solving: Proactively engage with stakeholders to understand technical requirements and demonstrate how Met One/Acoem solutions meet critical regulatory and compliance needs.
Administration & Market Intelligence:
- CRM Integrity: Maintain precise territory and customer data in Salesforce to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Marketing Partnership: Represent Met One at industry trade shows and product launches to elevate brand presence in the region.
- Market Feedback Loop: Provide direct market insights and customer feedback to management to help influence future product development and technical enhancements.
- Operational Efficiency: Proactively identify and responsibly use applicable AI tools (e.g., generative AI, data analysis platforms) to improve the quality, speed, and output of daily tasks and projects.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Proven track record in business management or technical sales, specifically involving sensors, measurement systems, or complex industrial equipment.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of environmental regulations and air quality standards; experience navigating the procurement processes of government or regulatory agencies is highly valued.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert-level familiarity with sales methodologies and the use of CRM systems (Salesforce).
- Mindset: An "owner" mindset—competitive, inquisitive, and hungry for growth. You must be a self-directed expert capable of working independently while maintaining a collaborative spirit with the broader global team.

- Location: Remote; candidate must be located in the Southeastern or Eastern Region.
- Travel: Flexibility to travel up to 50% domestically to engage with clients and stakeholders on-site.
