GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide overall management of the Stockbridge-Munsee LP Gas Enterprise. Will directly supervise all Mohican LP Company’s staff. Manager will lead in every way possible towards the successful execution of the business. Will perform a wide variety of management and office administration duties. Will work under the direct supervision of the Executive Director

STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS:

All employees of Stockbridge Munsee Community must meet the following qualification:

1. Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug and health screening.

2. Must be at least 18 years of age, unless otherwise stated on job description

3. Must maintain an acceptable departmental attendance record

4. Must be able to work weekends, nights and holidays

DUTIES:

1. Will draft and update company policies and procedures (General Accepted Accounting Practices).

2. Will verify all daily sales, payment, beginning/ending paperwork submitted by the LP Lead Driver.

3. Will complete all end of the month tasks such as bulk meter readings, inventory of equipment and supplies documentation submitted by the LP Driver.

4. Will complete an annual budget and monitor monthly financial statements with assistance of lead driver.

5. Will monitor LP prices, calculate, and set sale prices for LP with assistance of lead driver.

6. Will create customer payment plans and establish payment methods.

7. Will be responsible to complete all required reports.

8. Will maintain the invoice system including invoice register.

9. Work with vendors regarding invoices.

10. Will review all monthly statements from vendors to make sure all billings are being submitted on a timely basis.

11. Handle all clerical tasks, including typing, maintaining files, answering telephone, greeting customers and all other duties required for the efficient operation of the business.

12. Will work with the lead driver to assist in developing and maintaining an efficient delivery schedule.

13. Will assist in establishing new sales accounts.

14. Work with supply NGL Supply Terminal Co. to contract pricing for LP.

15. Must record daily all orders for fuel and receipt payments received.

16. Must make daily deposits to the Financial Offices.

17. Must approve of ordering, selling, and inventory of stock.

18. Required to attend job related, in-service, meetings, and training to maintain professional and technical knowledge.

19. Must adhere to tribal law and other applicable laws as well as tribal personnel policies and procedures.

The duties and responsibilities will be subject to change based on organizational needs and/or deemed necessary by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must have at least an associate degree with experience in successfully managing a program or business that included supervisory and financial responsibilities OR, a high school diploma or GED with three years experience previous successful experience supervising and managing a business or program is required.

2. Must have demonstrated management experience to include staff supervision, budget development, organizational skills, record keeping and monitoring, purchasing, pricing, and inventory control.

3. Must have ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with staff, customers, management, and sales representatives necessary to effectively carry out job duties.

4. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing using clear and concise terms.

5. Must be willing to work flexible hours that will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

6. Must have strong computer and software application skills. Previous work experience with industry specific software is preferred.

7. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

8. Must be able to work with little to no supervision.

9. Must pass a basic LP Store exam with a minimum score of 80% prior to interview process.

10. Must pass pre-employment drug and health screening. Must adhere to the Tribe’s Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy during the course of employment.

11. Must obtain and maintain coverage under the employer’s Employee Dishonesty policy.

12. Must have demonstrated ability to maintain satisfactory working record in any prior or current employment.

13. Must abide by departmental and organizational safety, testing, and uniform guidelines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

1. This position requires a lot of sitting with occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds.

2. Evening and/or weekend is required. Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.

3. Work environment requires excellent personal hygiene due to working in close proximity to others and in an enclosed area.

4. A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or TB Skin Test may be required.
