We are seeking a skilled Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Technician with expertise in Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to join our team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for locating, identifying, and mapping underground utilities using advanced geophysical methods, primarily GPR, to support engineering and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform utility locating using GPR and other electromagnetic equipment.
• Interpret GPR data to identify subsurface utilities and anomalies.
• Assist in preparing detailed utility maps and reports.
• Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and field crews to ensure accurate data collection.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment regularly.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in SUE or utility locating.
• Proficiency in GPR operation and data interpretation.
• Knowledge of ASCE 38-22 standards is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
