About Frontline Wildfire Defense
Founded in 2017 by landscape ecologist and fire mitigation expert Harry Statter, Frontline developed the first fully integrated wildfire defense system to stop the leading cause of home loss in wildfires: ember-driven ignition. The system combines exterior sprinklers, full-coverage design, and connected software for remote monitoring and response, allowing homes to protect themselves long after families evacuate or infrastructure fails.
Proven effective during the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires, 96% of homes with Frontline systems survived. That success has earned top industry recognition, including Frontline being recognized as one of TIME’s Best Inventions 2025 in the Green Tech category and receiving the PCBC Gold Nugget Award for “Most Innovative Housing Concept” and the Best of IBS Award for “Best Home Technology.”
As wildfires grow hotter and more frequent, our vision is to give people the tools and strategies to live safely with fire. We’re building a mission-driven team creating real-world solutions in wildfire safety and climate tech.
About This Opportunity
As Frontline's Supply Chain Data Analyst, you will be the analytical engine behind our procurement and operations function - building the data infrastructure, models, and processes that allow a rapidly scaling hardware company to manage supply effectively. This is a foundational role at a company that just proved its product in one of the most destructive wildfire seasons in California history and is now building the operational backbone to scale nationally.
You'll split your time between hands-on procurement support (approximately 20–30% of your week) and deep data and process improvement work (approximately 70–80%). The procurement side keeps projects moving: managing POs, tracking shipments, and supporting vendor relationships. The analytical side is where you'll have real impact: building models, identifying supply chain inefficiencies, and developing the systems that give leadership the data they need to make decisions at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Operations Support (20-30% of work week)
  • Actively support Frontline programs with procurement tasks such as supplier set up, PO creation & approval, price updates, material movement, project tracking, securing of sample & trial materials, tracking and monitoring of shipments, etc.
  • Internal stakeholder management – establish and support relationships across the numerous functions, commodities and business areas within Frontline
  • Close out weekly procurement reports for leadership analysis including spend analysis and cost modeling
  • Work with Project Management to ensure smooth delivery and removal of any materials related to install
  • Ensure correct departmental coding for all billing reconciliation with finance
  • Ensure strict compliance to departmental procedures for procurement and escalate to leadership when standards are not met
  • Proactively escalate any pricing or lead time changes to leadership
  • Actively develop new vendor relationships to reduce time and cost
Process and Data Improvements (70-80% of work week)
  • Identify key issues using a variety of data analysis tools and algorithms across a broad range of areas including: operations, logistics, supply and demand planning, inventory optimization, new product readiness, assist in implementing advanced planning systems
  • Determine root cause of issues, develop solutions, drive change management, manage, monitor supply chain efficiencies, and manage both long and short-term customer delivery plans
  • Define, analyze, and track key supply chain metrics using data analysis techniques to help assist partnering organizations in making decisions
  • Create new mathematical models, processes, systems to solve complicated supply chain problems
  • Translate business requirements into technical/project deliverables
Qualifications:
Must Have:
  • 3–5+ years in supply chain analysis, procurement operations, or a closely related role
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel - macros, pivot tables, regression analysis, and complex data modeling
  • Proven ability to build models and reporting tools that are actually used by the business (not just technically sound)
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with limited historical data and process infrastructure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - you translate data findings into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience managing or supporting procurement operations: PO creation, vendor setup, shipment tracking, billing reconciliation
Nice-to-Have:
  • Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems
  • Background in hardware, manufacturing, or physical goods supply chains - experience with component-level procurement is a strong differentiator
  • Experience implementing or improving demand planning or inventory optimization systems
  • Familiarity with project management tools for cross-functional coordination
