What You’ll Do
The Director, Climate Action and Procurement Initiatives, serves as a strategic bridge between the Enterprise and Procurement Services (EPS) department and the Center for Climate Futures. This role provides strategic leadership and technical expertise to advance sustainability and clean energy goals across the California Community Colleges and the communities that they serve. Responsibilities include managing sustainability-related contracts, supporting the development of climate action plans, identifying funding and grant opportunities, and driving engagement with stakeholders and partners. The Director will also support conference planning and professional development efforts, ensuring alignment between procurement strategies and climate initiatives to foster innovative, equitable, and resilient solutions systemwide.

- Knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, the California Community College system and the Foundation’s mission.
