Job Summary:This is an exciting opportunity that combines hands-on work experience and skills training. As a Firefighter II you will be used for initial and extended attack fire suppression, support of prescribed fires, patrolling, and project work. Crews range in size from three to 20 firefighters and work with specialized firefighting equipment and perform many strenuous activities such as – mobile attack with engines, hose lay, construction of fireline with hand tools, burnout operations, and mopping up hotspots.Certifications Required:- Complete S-130/S-190/I-100/L-180 training. Pass work capacity fitness test (pack test). Complete Annual RT-130 training NOTE: Not required for first year FF2 Become certified as an FFT2.
