Position Summary:
This position serves to support the Small Tool Repair Technician II in provisioning, troubleshooting, and managing the Customer Delivery, Transmission compliance tool schedules and other business unit periodic inspection requests. This includes Inspecting, Cleaning, Repairing and Testing Compliance Tools in accordance with corporate guidelines per OSHA, ASTM and ASME standards.
Responsibilities:
Cleaning, Inspecting, Repairing & Testing Compliance Tools
Repairing Specialty Tools - Battery, Hydraulic, Gas Powered & Electrical Tools
Assisting meter lab with meter refurbishments – Receiving, Scrapping, Cleaning, Testing, Validating, Programming, and Stocking
Receiving, Testing, Provisioning new and old compliance tools
Distributing various materials to Operations Centers for field use
Required/Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
In addition to required degree, one (1) year related work experience
Desired Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Prior basic knowledge of power distribution.
Prior knowledge of power tools.
Self-motivated, hard-worker, with desire to learn in a fast-paced setting.
Flexible and ready to perform multiple duties depending on priority.
Working Conditions
Onsite Mobility Classification – Work will be performed at a company facility.
Lab Environment
May be required to work in storm restoration

Must be able to handle work responsibilities with minimum supervision but also work as part of a team with a desire to learn in a fast pace setting and be respectful to others.
Knowledge and ability to utilize computer software programs including MS Excel, MS Word, and internal web-based materials ordering and expense system applications.
Applicant must have a satisfactory safety record and open to adhere to company safe work practices.
