This position is in charge of coordinating and Managing CFO Crew daily activities within the designated territory and assisting operations supervisors and managers as needed. The duties also include promoting all regulated and unregulated services to current and prospective customers, coordinating service opportunities, and assisting management with recommendations and implementations. This position does not have any responsibilities for direct supervision of employees but does have responsibilities for coordinating, leading and assigning the work of company employees as well as acting as a liaison with contract crews. This position also has a contributory responsibility to determining and overseeing department and project budgets. The position will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures by developing and documenting standard processes to ensure high levels of productivity and efficiency for the department.
Responsibilities
Interpret and instruct employees in accordance with policy, procedures, and current standards.
Assist in the direction of Resource Center activities in compliance with Company’s established safety and environmental programs.
Assist with regulated work distribution workforce management software, that includes but is not limited to: Mobile Application, Dispatch Application, Maximo and Geospatial Application, and scheduling personnel.
Review reports and proactively address opportunities for improvement of processes, employee performance and/or customer service. Responsible for coordinating daily activities through the working of non-emergency and emergency work orders and the maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
Running dedicated groups for particular work order types (Retirements / Leaks / Relocates / Damages). Manages the prioritization of projects assigned to the Operations field personnel in the Resource Center in a timely manner.
Coordinate work with other departments (TFO, Distribution Construction, CFOT, Fabrication)
Ensure the execution, recording, maintenance, and inspection of Compliance policies and regulations.
Work Flagged order report and create and route appropriate follow up orders
Promote excellent customer service and community relations by Resource Center employees by responding and investigating Internal/External customer concerns and needs.
Assist with recommendations in regard to account adjustments, reimbursements to customers and collection matters
Assist with Building Maintenance Functions
Coordinate equipment repairs, equipment calibration and tool ordering.
Ensure appropriate response to emergencies based on in-house critique and feedback from the Engineering Department, emergency response agencies, and applicable regulatory agencies.
Respond immediately to operational and emergency callouts and is subject to the same 7 days a week, 24 hours a day call out. Assist in Liaison Activities.
Required/Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree
2 years related work experience
In lieu of Bachelors degree(s) AND 2 year(s) related work experience listed above, High School/GED AND 7 year(s) related work experience
Desired Qualifications
High School/GED degree
In addition to desired degree, 5 years related work experience
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of mechanical systems. Also, basic understanding of accepted accounting practices.
Previous experience in a CFO Crews or similar role
Experience in NGBU Field work or like Natural Gas experience from other Utilities.
Demonstrate effective leadership skills / ability
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to perform in emergency situations
Basic mathematics skills and basic understanding of budgets and related practices
Perform other assignments (or duties) as required by Operations Manager
Experience working in alternate work management systems (SAPect.), basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Proficiency using a computer and related software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Map Point, S2K/MVRS, Service Suite, Web Methods, Fieldsmart, Power BI, MOMs, GSA Lite
