Our modern fuel treatment system recognizes and supports conservation efforts with a clean, smoke-free process. We need technology to amplify our workforces with targeted use of synthetic fire to treat fuel loads

10x faster than previously possible.

The Role

BurnBot is seeking a Logging and Forestry Superintendent in Northern California to organize, coordinate and control daily assignments and provide the necessary direction and leadership to crewmember(s), inspect and maintain equipment daily, conduct tailgate safety briefings and applicable training to team members, identify operational needs for each working location and work with team members to mitigate any concerns. The superintendent will work with the project manager to plan and execute daily project objectives and ensure that the team’s operation is conducted safely and to project specifications.

This role is an exempt role with an annual compensation of $100,000 - $110,000. However, we do consider many factors when creating job offers, including (but not limited to), the role, location, responsibilities, experience, training, education, and skillset.

Required Tasks

● Maintain a safe, productive, and positive work environment. Maintain and clean all

equipment issued.

● Comply with all state and federal regulations.

● Manages relationships with clients and provides on-site coordination for all phases of

logging and forestry projects.

● Manage material, equipment logistics and project inventory.

● Act as the liaison between project foreman, sub-contractors, clients and company

leadership; including, but not limited to meeting with clients and stakeholders to review

and explain project cost, extra expense and change orders.

● Provide leadership to direct or indirect reports to ensure project assignments are

delivered on time to company standards and client satisfaction.

● Troubleshoot problems on the jobsite with the ability to identify potential deficiencies

before issues arise.

● Strong bias for action and the ability to execute assigned tasks with or without guidance.

● Can adapt to a fast changing environment and work priorities.

● Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

● Bachelors Degree or equivalent

● Valid driver's license

● Utilize personal knowledge to resolve issues and ability to discern when to seek

assistance for efficient, effective resolutions.

● Prior experience with heavy equipment, handcrews, and/or fuels mitigation.●

Excellent customer service skills. Including listening, responding and assisting with a

positive, of service mindset.

● Physical ability to lift/push/pull weights of up to 75 lbs with regularity.

● Ability to bend, twist, lift, reach, grasp and climb various surfaces and heights for 8+

hours per day.

● Be able to commute around to job sites in, but not limited to, northern California.

organization.
