The Business Operations Analyst is responsible for assisting in multi-functional analysis activities to support the organization's strategic goals. This role involves analyzing cross functional data (including but not limited to programmatic, financial, quality, safety, security, supply chain, contracts, and others as required), preparing reports, and providing insights to senior management to aid in decision-making processes.

Essential Functions:

  • Support Business Operations Director in developing and implementing operational goals, processes, and performance metrics.
  • Support operational improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, expand margins, and support scalability.
  • Support financial planning processes, including budget development, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Support finance to develop multi-year budgets, forecasts, investment strategies, and margin expansion initiatives that support strategic goals.
  • Assist with establishing and monitoring KPIs, operational dashboards, and reporting systems to track progress against objectives.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to resolve operational challenges, align priorities, and ensure consistent execution.
  • Support business process documentation, compliance, and risk management activities.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology and systems improvements to increase operational accuracy and visibility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule].

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Security Clearance -Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Working knowledge process optimization, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and operational KPIs
  • Knowledge of change management methodologies and implementation of new systems, tools, and processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to interface with customers and technical professionals at all levels
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to assess technical, programmatic, and contractual issues
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to work on several projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of analytical tools including but not limited to Power Bi, SRS, Excel, others.

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or related field.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in business operations, finance, or related field

AEVEX provides a reasonable range of compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific location. The range of starting pay for this position is for the listed location only.

Salary Range
$103,300$113,000 USD
