Job Overview
An Aircraft Integration Technician 2 is responsible for assisting with the installation, integration, and testing of avionics systems and components in aircraft. They work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that all systems are properly installed and functioning correctly.
Essential Functions
- Assist with installation and checkout of UAV electrical and electronic devices
- Utilize hand and power tools during assembly and fabrication
- Assist with utilizing multimeters and probes to conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on equipment wiring.
- Assist with cable assembly and repairs
- Provide support working on integration, fuselage/airframe, and programming portions of the UAV.
- Assist with assembling components including switches, electrical controls, and junction boxes
- Provide support working on integration, fuselage/airframe, and programming sections of the UAV.
- Follow work instructions and/or peer guidance on proper assembly
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Competencies
- Proficient understanding of fundamental skills such as soldering, crimping, tool use, and frame assembly.
- Proficient avionics and mechanical integration skill
- Ability to follow guidance on tasks and work requirements
- Ability to read and understand prints and layouts, or learn if not experienced.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently with team members, independently, and cross-functionally.
- Ability to meet daily/weekly production goals with critical time schedules
Education / Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
- 3-6 Years of experience in a production and/or assembly environment
- Proven knowledge of competencies for skill level can be used in lieu of experience.
- Proven experience working on integration, fuselage/airframe, and programing portions of a UAV or similar aircraft.
